In a startling incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a giant crocodile caused panic as it entered a family’s home in the early hours of the morning.
The incident took place in Triloki Gaudi village of Bahraich district on October 6.
Visuals showed the imposing crocodile moving around the house in the dark as terrified residents illuminated the scene with flashlights. After sunrise, officials and rescuers were seen tying ropes to the crocodile, which appeared furious as they pulled it out of the house. Locals gathered around, witnessing the distressing scene unfold.

According to reports, at approximately 3:00 AM on Sunday, the crocodile wandered into the residence of Rajendra Yadav, prompting family members to hastily escape and call for help. Despite immediate notifications to the Forest Department, assistance did not arrive for several hours. Local police, including the station house officer and constables, monitored the situation to ensure the crocodile’s safety and prevent harm. It took four hours for the Forest Department team to arrive and manage the situation, leaving villagers anxious about the well-being of both the crocodile and the community.
