Giant 16 ft python sparks panic in central India, gets captured after preying on jackal
In a startling incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a massive 16-foot-long python caused panic among farmers after preying on a jackal before being captured by rescuers.
The incident took place in Narwar village of Shivpuri district on November 15.

Visuals showed the snake rescuer at the spot, carefully handling the massive python while monitoring the situation. The sight of the enormous snake left locals in distress and awe as they gathered near the open field.According to reports, farmers working in the paddy fields were alarmed when they saw the python gripping a wild jackal in its jaws. Panic spread across the area as the farmers fled in fear. Villagers immediately informed Salman Pathan, an experienced snake rescuer. On arrival, Salman and his team observed the python regurgitating its prey. After an hour of relentless effort, the team managed to safely capture the python. Wildlife experts noted that the python’s size and strength made it a potential threat to humans.
