The incident took place in Motipura area, Himmatnagar of Sabarkantha district on May 31.
Visuals showed a massive fire had erupted on the road, drawing the attention of nearby bystanders who were seen recording the terrifying scene on their phones.
According to the report the fire created a sense of panic among people and onlookers. Thanks to the swift action of the fire safety team, a catastrophe was avoided.
This is said to be the second fire incident involving the Sabarmati gas pipeline. In response, Sabarmati Gas has initiated an investigation to determine why the roadside gas pipeline is repeatedly catching fire.
