Four injured after stage collapses during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in central India
Four people were left injured after a stage collapsed during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.
This incident happened in Jabalpur on April 7.
Visuals showed the chaos that broke out in the situation after the stage collapsed. People were seen hastily moving away from the spot so that the victims could be saved. The broken parts of the stage were also seen and later on, cops were spotted carrying away one of the victims of this accident and putting him into a car to be taken for treatment.
According to a report, the four injured included police personnel as well. This happened when the rally had passed and a stage which was built for the same next to a showroom, collapsed due to overcrowding. All the injured were rushed to the Victoria Hospital in Jabalpur for treatment. Later, Madhya Pradesh minister Rakesh Singh confirmed that the injured were recovering well at the hospital and some had already been sent home after treatment.
