According to reports, the mission was led by fisherman Mr. Sankar, along with Forester Mr. Prakash, the incident highlights the vital role fishermen play in protecting marine biodiversity. The green sea turtle, an endangered species, became entangled in fishing equipment during routine operations. Recognizing the significance of preserving marine life, the fishermen promptly alerted authorities. Forest officials and his team collaborated with the fishermen to safely disentangle and release the turtle back into its natural habitat.
