Forest department bravely rescues two massive pythons from village in central India

In a remarkable rescue operation in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, forest department officials successfully captured and released two pythons back into the wild.

The incident took place at Gotegaon in Narsinghpur district on September 12.

Visuals showed the rescue officials carefully handling one of the pythons, while curious locals gathered to witness the operation. Some were also seen assisting the forest department team. The python was safely placed into a jute bag and then transported to a forested area for release.

According to reports, under the guidance of a Forest Range Officer, a python, measuring around 10 to 12 feet, was found in Kehar Singh Mehra’s house in village Piparsara-Chandankheda. The rescue team swiftly captured the python and released it in the forest of Nadia.

In another instance, under the supervision of Gotegaon Forest Range Officer Himanshu Tyagi I.F.S.C., a python approximately 8 to 10 feet in length was rescued from the banks of Umaria Srinagar lake. Following its capture, it was safely relocated to the Bagaspur forest.
