According to reports, flocks of flamingos can be spotted in Mumbai during their season, typically from December to May. The best time to see these birds is in line with the tides. As flightless birds, they move with the tides and are most easily seen a couple of hours before and after high tide. For birdwatchers, December and January are the prime months to observe these winter visitors.
