Five injured in armed robbery at jewellery shop in northern India
Five people, including the shop owner, were injured in a violent robbery at a jewellery store in northern India’s Rajasthan. The robbers, who fled the scene, are currently being pursued by special police teams.
The incident took place in the central market of Bhiwadi, which is located in the Khairthal-Tijara district on August 23.
Visuals showed a jewellery shop where a group of masked men forcefully enter with the intent to loot. They immediately attack and overpower the security guard stationed outside, then turn their aggression towards the people inside, striking fear into everyone. The robbers swiftly begin filling their bags with valuables, all while holding the terrified individuals at gunpoint.
Just as they prepare to escape, a bystander bravely approaches, attempting to defend the shop owner. His courage inspires the injured victims inside, who muster the strength to resist the robbers. A chaotic struggle ensues, with the victims desperately trying to capture the thieves. However, the robbers manage to escape, leaving behind several severely injured individuals who fought back valiantly.
The robbers, who arrived in a car, opened fire upon entering the shop, causing panic and injuries. Kamlesh Soni, the shop owner, and a security guard were among the injured. The chaos also led to three others sustaining injurie.
After executing the robbery, the assailants quickly fled the scene. Local police have launched an extensive manhunt, with special teams formed to track down the culprits. The injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital, and authorities are working to gather evidence from the crime scene. The incident has sparked concern among local residents, as the police continue their efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.
