Fish society directors protest on water tank in southern India

In southern India’s Telangana, three directors from the fish Mudiraj society staged a dramatic protest by climbing a water tank.

The incident took place in Bhimaram mandal centre, Mancherial District on July 4.

Visuals showed  the directors perched atop the tank, refusing to come down until their demands were addressed. The situation was resolved when local police intervened, providing assurances that their demands would be considered. After receiving the police’s assurance, the directors agreed to end their protest and safely descended from the water tank.

According to reports, the directors took this extreme step to demand an extension of their lease deadline for another three months. Their primary concern was to seek justice for the directors of the fish Mudiraj society, who they believed were being unfairly treated.
