Fire ravages house in northern India, highlighting lack of emergency services
A fierce fire engulfed a property, prompting nearby residents to swiftly evacuate a family to safety in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place near Railway Road in Dadri on April 16.
Visuals showed a house was engulfed in a fierce blaze, flames leaping high and thick black smoke filling the air. The fire burned intensely, casting a dark and ominous glow.
The blaze erupted suddenly, sending plumes of thick smoke billowing into the air and casting a pall of fear over the neighborhood. Witnesses recount the frantic efforts of local residents to alert authorities and assist the affected family in escaping the inferno unscathed.
However, their efforts were hampered by the glaring absence of a crucial resource: fire brigade vehicles. Despite repeated calls for assistance, none were available at the time of the incident. This delay proved catastrophic for a local businessman whose entire inventory was reduced to ashes before any firefighting aid could be mobilized.
