Fire erupts in Indraprastha gas limited pipeline in northern India

A fire broke out in the pipeline of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, causing panic in the surrounding area.

The incident took place near Chaudhary Mod, Ghaziabad on June 5.

Visuals showed flames emerging from the ground, leading to chaos among local residents. Fire brigade personnel arrived promptly at the scene and initially attempted to extinguish the fire with water. When these efforts proved ineffective, they called for a foam tender, which successfully brought the blaze under control.

There have been no reports of injuries, and the situation is now stable. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
