Fire erupts in hut in northern India; prompt response prevents casualties

A late-night fire ignited by firecrackers engulfed a hut in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh. The fire brigade and police quickly arrived at the scene, successfully bringing the blaze under control without any casualties.

The incident took place at Judge Colony in the Civil Lines area of Unnao on October 29.

Visuals showed flames raging fiercely from a hut, with smoke billowing into the sky. The fire brigade team, in action, battled to control the fire, dousing it with water amidst the intense heat and roaring flames. Their swift response aimed to prevent the blaze from spreading further, ensuring safety nearby.

The fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. reportedly caused by firecrackers. Upon receiving the emergency call, a team from the fire brigade led by SFO Shivram Yadav promptly arrived at the location. Working swiftly, the fire brigade managed to extinguish the flames using water, preventing further spread and averting any loss of life or injury.

According to officials, there were no casualties, and the situation is now under control. Authorities on the scene commended the timely response that allowed the fire to be subdued quickly, restoring safety to the area.
