Fire engulfs grid station in northern India

The incident took place in Battal Baliyan industrial area of Udhampur district on May 16.
Visuals showed srid station engulfed in flames and local fire brigade personnel’s efforts to calm down the uncontrollable fire using water.
The fire, which remains of undetermined origin, has engulfed two transformers within the station, leading to uncontrollable flames.
Efforts to quell the inferno are currently underway, with assistance provided by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and local fire brigade personnel.
The cause behind the outbreak is yet to be ascertained, and authorities continue to work diligently to bring the situation under control.
