Fire breaks out at police barrack, vehicles burn to ashes in eastern India

by Komal KashyapIn a tragic incident, a massive fire broke out at a police barrack as vehicles burnt to ashes in eastern India’s Jharkhand.
The incident took place in Ranchi city on July 12.
As per reports, a fire broke out in the early hours of the day that led to stir amongst the police officers in the police barrack. The policemen who were asleep after their night duty woke up after they felt the heat and rushed outside, which led to a stampede-like situation inside the barrack made for 25 people’s accommodation. The police informed the fire department who rushed to the spot.
After hours of struggle the fire was brought under control and was doused by the fire officials. The reason behind the fire is not known yet.
