Fire breaks out at building in northern India, residents evacuated safely

In a dramatic incident in northern India’s Delhi, a fire erupted in a building, leading to the swift evacuation of residents.

The incident took place in lane number 3 of Shastri Park in Northeast Delhi on October 8.

Visuals showed residents being evacuated from the building using a crane equipped with a trolley to assist them as they exited through their balconies. Fire brigade teams worked diligently alongside the crane operators to ensure everyone was safely moved out of the structure. The scene was intense, with smoke billowing as emergency crews rushed to respond.

According to reports, the blaze was reported around 9:30 AM, prompting the Delhi Fire Department to deploy five fire trucks. Fortunately, all residents were rescued unharmed, and no casualties were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, while authorities assess the significant damage caused to four two-wheelers and a bicycle parked nearby.
