Fire breaks out at bank in southern India

A fire broke out at the Bank of Baroda in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh. 

 

The incident took place in Sriram Chits office located in New Hall Center in Nellore city on July 1.

Visuals showed thick smoke filled the office as the fire engulfed numerous files and documents. The fire brigade team with a lot of difficulty managed to put out the fire and the office board was fixed back on the office top.

 

Fire personnel quickly reached the scene and managed to control the blaze before it could spread further. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the police.

This incident has raised concerns about fire safety measures in office buildings, prompting authorities to review protocols to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
