Fierce fire engulfs three-story building in northern India, firefighters battle for hours
A massive fire broke out in a three-story building in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, causing widespread damage.
The incident took place along the Lucknow-Ayodhya highway in Lucknow district on October 10.
Visuals showed the building engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke billowing into the sky as locals and passersby watched in distress. Firefighters were seen working tirelessly, spraying water to control the blaze.
According to reports, as soon as the fire was reported, more than half a dozen fire engines and hydraulic machines rushed to the scene. After nearly four hours of intense effort, the fire brigade managed to contain the fire. The building housed service centers, tire showrooms, and gyms, with the goods inside reduced to ashes. Fortunately, the basement, ground floor, and first floor remained undamaged, while tires and vehicle parts stored on the second floor were destroyed.
