Fate intervenes! Boatman’s swift action saves woman from drowning in lake in northern India

In a startling incident in northern India’s Uttarakhand, a woman was rescued by a boatman after she fell into Naini Lake.

The incident took place in Nainital district on September 15.

Visuals showed the woman screaming for help as she struggled in the water. Tourists boating nearby noticed her distress and alerted the boatmen. One boatman acted swiftly, using an oar to reach the woman and pull her to safety.

According to reports, the woman fell into the lake near the Pashan Devi temple, located along the cold road in Nainital. A tourist captured the entire rescue on their mobile camera, showcasing the boatman’s quick thinking and bravery in saving her life.
