Fatal accident bike collides with parked lorry in southern India

In a heart-wrenching accident in southern India’s Telangana , three individuals, including a 12-year-old boy, lost their lives when their two-wheeler collided with a parked lorry.

The incident took place at Gangaram village, Sathupalli mandal, Khammam district on August 2.


Visuals showed a devastating scene, a two-wheeler carrying three individuals collided with a stationary lorry. The impact caused the bike to veer off course, and the vehicle, along with its riders, fell to the ground. The crash was severe, and the sight of the overturned bike and the stationary lorry was chaotic. Nearby locals, who witnessed the accident, rushed to the scene to help.

The tragic incident occurred in Sathupally mandal, where Maddina Venu (20), Bethi Suresh (22), and Shaik Karimulla (12) were traveling from Gangaram to their village, Rama Govindapuram. According to local sources, the two-wheeler crashed into a parked truck, resulting in the immediate death of all three occupants.

The loss has cast a shadow of sorrow over Rama Govindapuram, as the community mourns the untimely death of three villagers. Notably, Karimulla, a Class 6 student at ZPHS Gangaram, had usually walked home but had requested a lift from the other two on that fateful day. His family noted that he would have reached home safely had he continued his walk.

The headmaster and teachers of Karimulla’s school have expressed their condolences. The bodies of the deceased have been transported to the local government hospital for postmortem. The police have registered a case based on the family’s complaint and are conducting an investigation into the accident.
