In a shocking incident in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh, a farmer named Ramanna was severely injured by two bears while working in his field. The attack occurred in the forest area of Uppa Vanka village, leaving Ramanna with serious head injuries.

 

The incident took place at Uppa Vanka Village, Kalyanadurgam Mandal, Anantapur District on August 14.

Visuals showed in the vicinity of the farm, bears were seen roaming around, causing a scene of distress and chaos. One of the bears launched a vicious attack on a man, leaving him severely injured. The man was covered in blood, his injuries visibly severe and extensive.

 

In the rural landscape of Anantapur District, a startling attack has left the local community in distress. Ramanna, a farmer from Uppa Vanka village in Kalyandurg Mandal, was engaged in agricultural work when two bears emerged from the forest and launched a violent assault on him. The bears targeted Ramanna with ferociousness, inflicting severe injuries to his head.

 

The farmer was promptly transported to a government hospital where he is receiving medical treatment for his injuries. Authorities are investigating the incident and taking measures to prevent future occurrences. Local residents are advised to exercise caution and avoid venturing into the forested areas to mitigate the risk of bear encounters.
