Farmer fights off hyena in jaw-dropping rescue!

The incident occurred in Nangal Lotwara village of Bandikui, Rajasthan, on January 3, around 4 PM.
The visual shows the hyena has grabbed the farmer’s leg. A man from the crowd comes forward and grabs the hyena’s leg from behind, after which other people also grab the hyena’s legs to free the farmer.
According to reports, the hyena had fallen into a well, drawing villagers to the scene after hearing its cries. Acting swiftly, the forest department team from the Bandikui range arrived at the spot by 5 PM and rescued the animal within 30 minutes using a JCB machine. Forester Yogesh Saini said, “As soon as the hyena came out of the well, it tried to escape by jumping. During this, the hyena caught the leg of 50-year-old farmer Raju Meena.”
He added, “While rescuing the hyena, we had asked people to move away from the spot. However, people did not move. During this time, the hyena caught a farmer. To free him, others beat the hyena with sticks. The hyena is currently being searched for.”
Raju Meena stated, “I was standing near my bike, about 30 meters from the well. As soon as the hyena came out, it attacked me and clamped onto my leg.”
Earlier, a hyena reportedly preyed on a goat in the same village, adding to the residents’ unease about wildlife in the area. The forest department has since launched a search for the escaped hyena, urging residents to remain cautious.
