The incident took place in Panna district, Madhya Pradesh, India, where the diamond was discovered and submitted to the Diamond Office in Panna on November 17.

According to reports, a farmer, Dilip Mistry, and his associates struck fortune yet again as they uncovered a dazzling 7.44-carat diamond on their leased land in Panna. The group has a history of discovering precious gems, having found more than a dozen diamonds since they began mining during the COVID-19 lockdown.
This recent discovery has been submitted to the Diamond Office in Panna. The gem will be auctioned during the upcoming diamond sale scheduled for December 4.
Expressing his joy, Mistry shared that the diamond discoveries have brought unparalleled happiness to their lives. The proceeds from the auction will be used for the education and future of their children. Earlier, Mistry’s team had found a 16-carat diamond from the same land, marking this as their second major find of the year.
A gem expert at the Diamond Office confirmed the diamond’s remarkable quality and added that it would attract significant bids in the upcoming auction.
