In a startling incident in India, a manhole lid exploded in the middle of a busy road, causing sewage water to gush into the air like a fountain.

The incident took place in India and the video went viral on July 10.

Visuals showed the manhole cover was suddenly propelled upwards by the force of the blast, sending a torrent of sewage water shooting into the air. The geyser-like eruption continued for several minutes, creating a large pool of dirty water on the road and causing vehicles to swerve to avoid the mess.
