In recent days, incidents of electric vehicles catching fire have occurred. Similarly a BMTC electric bus near Bidadi railway station on the outskirts of Bengaluru was seen engulfed in flames, surrounded by thick smoke resembling a blanket of fog. Fortunately, there were no passengers on the bus at the time, so no casualties have been reported.

The incident occurred around 3:40 PM today, while the bus was parked at the BMTC electric bus depot near Bidadi. Flames were visible in the battery of the bus. Upon witnessing this scene, depot officials were immediately alarmed. Technical personnel promptly proceeded to extinguish the fire.

Moreover, temperatures have been rising from day to day, causing concern among people about venturing out of their homes. They are worried about where to find shade to park vehicles in the city.
