Elderly man bitten by venomous snake in central India rushed to hospital in critical condition

An elderly man from central India’s Madhya Pradesh was bitten by a venomous snake late at night. His family quickly killed the snake and took it to the hospital with the man, allowing doctors to identify its species for effective treatment.

The incident took place in Deolal ka Pura village which is part of Baretha Panchayat in the Dimni region of Morena district on August 23.

Visuals showed an elderly man was bitten by a snake, leading to immediate action from his family. The man, in urgent need of medical attention, was rushed to the hospital where treatment began. The snake that bit him was killed by the family and placed in a plastic bag. The bag, containing the dead snake, was being transported alongside the man to ensure that medical staff could identify the snake and administer the appropriate treatment.

In a frightening incident in Morena’s Dimni region, a 65-year-old man named Keshav Singh was bitten by a venomous snake outside his home in Deolal ka Pura village. The incident occurred late at night when Keshav Singh stepped out into his gallery, where he was bitten by a black snake, approximately four to five feet long, near the gate.

Upon hearing his cries, family members rushed to his aid and identified the snake. They immediately killed the snake with a stick and placed it in a plastic bag. Keshav Singh was swiftly taken to the district hospital for treatment, with the snake brought along to assist doctors in determining the appropriate anti-venom.

Due to the seriousness of his condition, Keshav Singh was referred to Gwalior for further treatment later that night. Though dead, the sight of the large snake caused panic among those at the hospital. His family members took the snake along with them to Gwalior to ensure that Keshav Singh received the correct dosage of anti-venom.
