Drunk driver hits seven cows in northern India

The incident took place in Haldwani city on July 1.
Visuals showed the driver, intoxicated, was speeding through a residential area when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with the herd of cows. The impact was particularly severe on a baby cow, which was hit the hardest. Following the collision, the distressed herd gathered around the injured calf, adding to the emotional turmoil of the scene.
According to reports, local authorities quickly arrived at the scene, and the driver was apprehended. Veterinarians were called to provide immediate care to the injured cows, with several requiring intensive treatment due to the severity of their injuries.
