Northern India’s Delhi experienced severe waterlogging following heavy rainfall, leading to a dramatic rescue operation in a market underpass.

The incident took place in Azad Market underpass, Delhi city on June 28.

Visuals showed several individuals, including bus passengers, were trapped as water levels rose quickly, submerging vehicles halfway. Rescuers used tire tubes and ropes to evacuate the stranded people safely.
