Seven residents, including an elderly man, were rescued after being stranded in an elevator that got stuck due to some snag.

The incident took place at Livingstone Society in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, northern India, on November 28.

Visuals show the residents in distress, trapped in the elevator, as they were rescued one by one. An elderly man was seen being assisted out of the elevator, followed by a woman. Bystanders outside the elevator lent a hand to help the stranded individuals exit safely.According to reports, seven people were inside the elevator when it unexpectedly became stuck on the first floor. The rescue of those trapped in the elevator was accomplished within moments after they screamed for help when the elevator came to a sudden halt. The individuals trapped inside immediately called out for assistance. Eventually, the elevator doors were managed to be opened, allowing all the trapped individuals to be freed safely.
