Dog rescued from safety tank in central India with help from animal volunteers
A dog trapped in a safety tank near a convent school was rescued in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.
The incident took place in Shahdol district on August 8.
Visuals showed the helpless animal struggling in the waters, then the rescue team members got down the septic tank with the help of a ladder to tie a rope around the dog. The dog was finally pulled out of the septic tank safely.
According to reports, the rescue operation, which occurred between 11:00 and 11:29 AM, was carried out by the Atal Kamdhenu Gausewa Sansthan, led by Gaurav Ralhi Mishra. The rescue team received crucial support from animal welfare activists Sarthak Mishra and Prakash Sen. The location of the incident was Shahdol, a town in Madhya Pradesh.
The operation was meticulous, involving careful planning and teamwork to extricate the dog from the dangerous situation safely. The community expressed gratitude to the volunteers for their swift and effective response.
