Distressing! Dog intoxicated and forcibly relocated in northern India

The incident took place in the Shalimar City area of Ghaziabad district, and the video went viral on August 12.
Visuals showed a man trying to capture the dog with a thin rope looped around its neck as it darted around. He was later seen nearly sitting on the dog to restrain it. Following instructions from an elderly man in the crowd, a few others forcefully placed the dog into a cover while concerned locals looked on in distress.
According to reports, locals stated that the dogs in the area are being caught and relocated after being fed intoxicants. A small child was coerced into catching the dog. Authorities are currently investigating the matter, considering the potential danger if the dog had bitten someone during the incident.
