A devotee named Arun Rathore was rescued by the SDRF team after being stranded on an island in the Ganga River in northern India’s Uttarakhand due to sudden changes in water flow.
The Incident took place at Bagari Ghat in Haridwar district on July 23,
Visuals showed a man stranded in the Ganga River was safely rescued by the SDRF team, who jumped into the water and, after considerable effort, managed to bring him to safety. The scene depicts the SDRF team leaping into the rushing river, their determination evident as they navigate the swift currents. Despite the challenging conditions, they succeeded in rescuing the man from a precarious position on a small island in the middle of the river.
According to reports Arun Rathore was crossing the Ganga River at the Bagari Ghat in Haridwar when the water flow unexpectedly increased, causing him to become stranded on an island in the river’s middle.
The SDRF team stationed at the Bagari camp quickly responded to the emergency. Team members, led by ASI Deepak Mehta, risked their own safety by jumping into the river and carried out a challenging rescue operation. After considerable effort, they successfully retrieved Rathore and brought him to safety.
