The incident took place at Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain district on November 16.
Visuals showed the devotee showcasing a three-foot-long garland, intricately designed with over 200 US dollar notes, inscribed with the words “Jai Shri Mahakal” in between. According to reports, the exact number of dollars in the garland remains unknown. Temple administrator Ganesh Dhakad noted that devotees often make unique offerings to Lord Mahakal. The devotee, whose identity was undisclosed due to the secret donation, presented the garland, which was later placed in the temple’s donation box. The total value of the dollars will only be determined once the box is opened.
