Daylight robber snatches gold chain from woman walking on street in northern India

The incident took place at F Block of Noida Sector 50 on April 4.
Visuals showed a husband and wife were strolling along the road when suddenly, a motorcyclist appeared out of nowhere. With a swift motion, the rider snatched the gold chain from the woman’s neck and swiftly sped away, leaving the couple momentarily stunned, taking a few seconds to grasp what had just transpired.
According to reports in Noida, Sector 49 Police Station’s efforts to curb incidents of robbery and theft have proven ineffective as instances of loot continue to occur with alarming frequency. One such incident involved the snatching of a woman’s chain in the affluent Sector 50 area. The woman was walking with her husband when the theft occurred in Sector-50 F block. The incident was captured on CCTV, highlighting the audacity of the perpetrators.
The culprits, often riding bikes, swiftly execute their crimes despite the supposed vigilance of the local police’s patrolling and security measures. The failure of Sector 49 police station to effectively deter such criminal activities raises concerns about the overall security situation in the area.
