Daring rescue: Dog trapped for four days pulled out of well in central India
In a daring rescue in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a dog that had been trapped in a well for four days was safely rescued by a team of animal protectors.
The incident took place in Shahdol district on September 29.
Visuals showed the dark, barely visible well where the dog was struggling. Rescuers descended into the well during the night using ropes, carefully pulling the dog out. Upon being rescued, the dog was seen running away, marking the successful completion of the operation.
Speaking to Newslions, Mr. Gaurav Ralhi Mishra from Atal Kamdhenu Gausewa Sansthan confirmed that the rescue took place between 6:08 to 7:18 PM on September 29. He added that despite the danger of descending into the well at night, the brave team, including Prakash Sen, Hariom Dahiya, Vivek Panika, Rishabh Kushwaha, Mahesh Bhaiya, Sachin, Shailendra Singh, and Veerendra Dandiya, successfully saved the dog’s life.
