Crocodile spotted on northern India streets amid torrential rain
A crocodile was spotted on the streets due to torrential rainfall in northern India’s Rajasthan.
The incident took place at Bajrang Nagar Canal road in Kota on June 26.
Visuals captured a crocodile crossing a road and resting near a barrage late at night, creating an eerie atmosphere and leaving commuters in distress.
According to reports, commuters who spotted the crocodile stopped by the roadside and watched as it first lay near the canal bank before entering the canal.
According to officials from the forest department, during every monsoon season in Kota city, many crocodiles emerge from river drains and enter populated areas. Each year, teams capture around 70 to 80 crocodiles and release them into the Chambal River.
