Crocodile spotted in street after intense rainfall and flooding in western India
Following heavy and intense rainfall in western India’s Gujarat have become waterlogged, resulting in a dangerous situation where a crocodile was spotted in the floodwaters.
The incident took place at Makarpura-Jambuva in the city of Vadodara and the video went viral on August 28.
Visuals showed in a residential society, the aftermath of continuous heavy rainfall has led to severe waterlogging. Streets and surrounding areas are inundated with water, creating a vast, stagnant pool. Amidst the floodwaters, a crocodile was spotted moving through the water, its scaly body partially emerging from the surface as it navigated the flooded area. The sight of the crocodile in the murky, waterlogged streets amidst the chaotic flood scene presents a startling and concerning image.
Vadodara experienced a heavy downpour, leading to severe waterlogging and flooding in several parts of the city. Among the most affected areas are Makarpura and Jambuva, where the situation took a dangerous turn when a crocodile was sighted in the flooded streets.
