Crocodile enters police post premises in central India, escapes before forest department arrives
In a startling incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a crocodile was spotted inside a police post, causing panic among locals.
The incident took place in the Ata Karnel Garh police post of Sagar district on September 24.
Visuals showed the crocodile, illuminated by a flashlight during the late hours, appearing aggressive as it was still within the premises.
According to reports, villagers noticed the crocodile after hearing dogs barking near the post’s entrance. A bystander recorded a video of the crocodile before it escaped towards a nearby garden. Despite the forest department being alerted, the reptile had already fled before officials arrived.
Malthon police station in-charge Yogendra Singh confirmed that the crocodile was seen wandering around the Atta Kernelgarh police post, sparking concern among villagers and police staff alike.
