Several people stood at a safe distance, holding sticks, trying to drive the crocodile away from the area. The tension was palpable as the people cautiously waved their sticks and shouted to scare the reptile, hoping it would retreat to a safer place.

The incident occurred at night, and the sudden appearance of the reptile caused widespread panic.
