Cricketer suffers fatal heart attack during match in western India

In a tragic incident in western India’s Maharashtra, a 42-year-old man succumbed to a heart attack while playing cricket.
The incident occurred in the Mira Road area of Thane district on June 2.
Visuals showed the man, Ram Ganesh Tewar, stepping on one foot and smashing the ball out of the ground for a six. Before he could face another delivery, he suddenly collapsed and died. The players rushed to help him and attempted to revive him.
The match was held at a farmhouse and was organized by Tewar’s company. The police have registered a case of sudden death and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
