Cow rescued after it fell into unused septic tank in central India
A cow was rescued after it had fallen into an unused septic tank in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.
This incident took place near Shahdol railway station in the eponymous district at 10pm on October 30.
Visuals showed the procedure of rescuing the cow. The bovine was stuck in a cramped up space and could not move in the tank. There was also a huge stone slab inside the tank. The septic tank, it was learnt, was kept open as a result of negligence and this cow fell inside.
Ropes were tied around its body and with a lot of effort, the cow was eventually pulled out of the septic tank. The bovine was lifted out and then the ropes were taken off. The rescue work was conducted by members of the Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan, an organisation which has already conducted several such operations in Shahdol district of the state.
