Cow rescued after it falls into under-construction sewer line in central India
A cow was rescued after it fell into an under-construction sewer line in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.
This happened in Shahdol district of the state on October 12.
Visuals showed efforts being made to rescue the cow from the space meant for sewage. It was a pretty deep pit and also a narrow one at the same time, which prevented more than one person from going inside. A person was seen tying the legs of the cow to facilitate the rescue operation. The fact that the cow’s legs were completely sunk mud made this rescue operation even more difficult. The man, with great difficulty, also tried to push the animal’s body away from the wall of the pit.
The bovine was expectedly covered in mud and the person kept pushing the animal, also grabbing its tail so that it could come out of the pit. Later on, a rope was also tied to the cow’s horns and neck and with a lot of effort, it was brought near the mouth of the pit. From here, the heavy cow was pulled out by the people with great difficulty.
According to a report, this rescue operation was conducted by members of the Kamdhenu Gauseva Sansthan.
