This incident took place in Shahdol district of the state on April 26.
Visuals showed the rescue operation take place wherein members of the Atal Kamdhenu Gausevak Sansthan worked hard to save the animal’s life. The bovine had fallen into the deep well behind Amrita Hospital and was rescued with the help of a rope. The rope was tied around its body and later, was used to pull up the animal from the well.
The operation to rescue the cow had started at 1:00 pm IST (Indian Standard Time) and it concluded by 3:15 pm. A total of six workers of the Atal Kamdhenu Gausevak Sansthan, a local organisation, were involved in the cow’s rescue operation. Locals also assisted in the cow’s rescue operation.
