Cow falls into deep well in central India, rescued
A cow plummets into a deep well in central India’s Madhya Pradesh.
The incident occurred in the Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan, behind Amrita Hospital in Shahdol district on April 26.
Visuals display the mother cow fallen inside the deep well and being rescued after 2 hours of struggle. Two of the members of the Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan get down inside the well to save the cow. The cow then swims towards the rescuers after which a rope is tied around the cow through which the localites pull it up. The rescue operation had begun by 1 PM and ended by 3:15 PM.
Vivek Yadav, a cow servant, along with the aid from other locals rescues the cow and saves it. It takes a total effort of six people to pull up the cow and two to tie up the cow with the rope. The rescue operation was helmed by the members of Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan.
