A forest department personnel displayed the peak form of courage by carrying a massive 13-foot crocodile on his shoulders, resembling an ordinary rice gunny bag in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place in Hamirpur district on November 25.

In another set of visuals, the man was seen hauling the now-restrained crocodile, its mouth and limbs securely tied with cloth and rope, out of a field. The reptile, which had terrorized villagers for weeks after being spotted nearby, was finally subdued in a challenging rescue operation led by forest department officials.

Speaking to Newslions, Ajay Kumar Verma, Range Officer of Hamirpur, explained that villagers, overwhelmed by fear of a crocodile attack, sought help from the forest department. This initiated a carefully executed operation to capture the predator. Rescuer Jagdish Maurya carried the massive crocodile on his shoulders due to the area being densely covered with babool trees, making other methods impractical The crocodile was eventually released back into its natural habitat.

The daring act quickly went viral, earning Jagdish widespread praise online. Social media users lauded his bravery, with some humorously speculating that his bold deed might win him admiration from potential romantic interests.
