The incident took place in the Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh, central India on December 23.
Visuals show two dogs fighting the snake, relentlessly trying to kill it without regard for their own lives.
According to reports, while the family slept, the dogs, a Labrador named Chiku and a Rottweiler named Piku, battled and eventually killed the cobra. When the family woke to the sound of the dogs’ loud barking, they discovered one dog had died, while the other was groaning in pain. It was revealed that one dog had been bitten by the cobra during the fight, while the other, though alive, remains in critical condition.
