Cops retrieve liquor packets worth $5,747 in southern India

Police officers retrieved 2280 liquor packets along with a car and two bikes in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh.
This incident happened in Ramakuppam area of Chittoor district on April 30.
Visuals showed illegally seized liquor sachets assembled on the car which was carrying the liquor.
Kuppam DSP Srinath stated that Karnataka liquor being smuggled in Ramakuppam mandal area has been seized. 2880 Karnataka Liquor packets including a car and two bikes were seized. He clarified that the value of the car, two bikes and liquor would be Rs. 4,80,000 (USD 5,747.54).
Four liquor smugglers were arrested and remanded.
