Compassionate Indian officer saves injured bird, demonstrates humanity on road in central India
In central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a touching incident unfolded as Cyber Sub-Inspector Arvind Singh Rathore demonstrated exceptional compassion while on his way to an assignment. Spotting an injured “Neelkanth” bird (Indian Roller) struggling by the roadside, seemingly on the brink of giving up its will to live, Rathore immediately stopped his vehicle.
The incident took place in Rewa district and the video went viral on August 26.
Visuals showed how the man gently picked up the bird, bathed it with water, and helped it drink. The tender care and kindness shown by Rathore revived the bird, showcasing the true essence of service and compassion.
According to reports, despite being on duty, Rathore was moved by the sight of the distressed bird.
Such acts of kindness by officers like Rathore highlight the deeply rooted cultural values and humane spirit found in many parts of India. His actions not only saved a life but also set an example of how humanity should always come first, regardless of one’s profession.
