Visuals show the owl initially covered under a bamboo basket. A police officer, Anuj, gently uncovers it, carefully cradling the bird in his hands. Remarkably, the owl remains calm and quiet, a testament to the trust it feels around him. He takes the owl home in his police car, feeds it by gently opening its beak, and ensures it feels safe and cared for. The owl is seen sleeping peacefully in his arms and flying around the room before perching comfortably on a light. It appears entirely at ease in his presence, showcasing a deep sense of safety and trust.
According to reports, Anuj, a constable from the Baldeogarh police station, received a call from a nearby village reporting that an owl had been attacked by crows and injured. The villagers rescued the owl and sought help. Anuj, known for his compassion toward animals, brought the bird home, sought medical care, and personally nursed it back to health over 10 days. He fed it regularly, ensuring its comfort and recovery. His dedication created a special bond with the owl, which stayed by his side without fear. On January 3, when the owl was fully recovered, it spread its wings and flew away.
Anuj’s kindness and care highlight his unwavering commitment to helping animals in distress. His compassion transformed a fearful and injured owl into a calm and trusting companion, even if only for a short while.
