Cobra spotted inside house as mother pulls out winter clothing in central India
In a startling incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a mother encountered a cobra while pulling out warm clothing for winter. The snake was found near a bundle of clothes as her child played nearby.
The incident took place in a residential colony near Pathariya Jat of Sagar district on October 6.
Visuals showed the snake catcher rescuing the cobra, which was still inside the room with an open suitcase and blankets scattered around. The snake catcher skillfully handled the furious cobra using a stick and then safely released it into an open field. The mother narrated the incident, visibly relieved after the cobra was removed from the house.

According to reports, the mother, identified as Constable Varsha Patel, was folding clothes when she spotted the cobra. She swiftly sent her son upstairs, contacted her husband, and called for a snake-catching expert. Snake catcher Akhil later confirmed that the approximately 4-foot-long cobra was shedding its skin, which likely slowed it down. The snake was safely released into the forest.
