Cobra spotted among residents in central India, swiftly rescued, released into the wild

In a tense situation in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, residents were thrown into panic when a cobra was spotted inside a house early in the morning.

The incident took place in Shivpuri district on October 15.

Visuals showed the cobra slithering near the boundary wall of an open area in the house, remaining still but appearing dangerous. Snake catcher Akhil was seen using two sticks to carefully capture the cobra, ensuring it was unharmed. The snake was later placed in a jar to be safely released into the forest by the forest department.

According to reports, the cobra had been hiding under a seating area in the house when it was first noticed at around 5 am. The forest department was immediately informed, and the snake was swiftly rescued and transported to a forested area for release, averting any potential harm to the residents.
